Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.0 Update is out and it has breathed new life into the game. There are many players now redownloading the game and exploring what the new update has to offer. This update has also added some interesting new easter eggs to the game.
One of these easter eggs is a secret laptop that seems to be an addition to the mysterious FF:06:B5 mystery that fans have still not figured out. In this guide, we will show you how you can find this new secret laptop. This way you can see for yourself and maybe figure out the mystery!
Secret Laptop FF:06:B5 Easter Egg Location
The secret laptop location will require you to look around a certain area with a keen eye as it very easily blends into the environment. You also need to have the new Update 2.0 downloaded to locate this laptop. Here are the steps to follow so you can locate it:
- Fast Travel to the Medeski Fuel Station that can be found in the Badlands.
- Turn right into the junkyard area and keep moving forward, angling to the North West after some time.
- Locate the giant red container that can be found near a small clearing. This area is very easy to miss so we recommend checking the location on the map below.
- Look on the ground to locate a beaten up laptop. This laptop is hard to miss and blends into the trash.
- Open the laptop to reveal the secrets within.

Detailed Walkthrough
The FF:06:B5 mystery has existed ever since the game first launched. The symbols were first found on a statue in the game and the fans went wild trying to solve the mystery.
There are so many theories that can be found online in the form of videos, posts, community discussions and more.
Some people even believe that this mystery has its origins in the Witcher 3, which is also developed by CD Projekt Red.
However, as of now, the FF:06:B5 Mystery is still unsolved. However, there has been another addition to it in Update 2.0 that could perhaps lead to a possible solution.
This is in the form of a laptop that can be found in a large trash pile in the game.
Start by Fast Travelling to the Medeski Fuel Station which can be found in the Badlands section of the map. This location is the closest that you can fast travel to finding that laptop.
Once you arrive, take a sharp right and immediately start running into the abandoned junkyard area that you will see there.
You can even see a large crane above which indicates the general direction that you should be heading towards. Ditch your car as you will need to walk and hop for this section.
Start moving towards the crane and then angling just towards the Northwest. Basically, you want to hop around the jump until you arrive at a prominent red container that looks a bit like a train compartment. It will be near a small clearing where there doesn’t seem to be much trash.
If you can’t find the area, be patient as there is a lot of junk in the area that will hamper your view of the place. We have also marked the area on the map, so you can have a general idea of where it is located.
When you are near this container, start looking around the ground. You can even use your Scanner as it can allow you to detect the computer at times.
This laptop is very easy to miss because it looks incredibly beaten up from the top and blends in with the rest of the junk.
However, it is extremely close to the container so you won’t have to venture around much until you locate it
Once you find the laptop, Open it up and you will find a strange symbol of a snake eating its own tail.
After that, some weird rune-like symbols will trail across the screen and disappear. This cycle will keep on repeating.
We aren’t really sure what it means yet but we’re sure the community is busy cracking the secrets hidden in these runes.
These symbols have also been observed in other FF:06:B5 easter eggs, so maybe it forms some kind of a code?
That’s how you can locate the secret laptop in the new Cyberpunk 2.0 update. Who knows, maybe this is the easter egg that will finally crack this mystery that players have spent years trying to crack. All we know is that it looks really cool!
